Bohemian Rhapsody

Uff Summers. While it stands synonymous to scorching heat, sweat and the blazing sun it also brings with itself free flowy light weight ensembles, maxi dresses, fabulous sunnies and more. That sounds exciting and comforting isnt it? Many a Bollywood celebrities are also sporting the much coveted look for Summer. From florals to stripes, maxi dresses are hitting the news everywhere.

If given a choice I would literally spend the entire summers living in dresses or shorts. I am a sucker for comfort clothing. One such addition to my summer wardrobe has been this beautiful blue dress from Chemistry. Its made of light fabric and easily slips in the body. The aztec print on the dress makes it even more catchy. It fits the bill for the perfect summer wear.

I decided to carry a boho look to complement the dress. Since silver is becoming the recent obsession,  I wore a pair of silver jhumkis along with a few silver bangles which I picked up from the streets of Hill road Bandra. I added a turquoise stone neckpiece from mom’s collection. To add some shines, I wore my mirror work pakistani jutti’s that I got from Amritsar. It just added a bling to the attire. You could alternatively also rock your casual style by wearing kohlapuris. I finished the look by adding a colored bindi.

For hair, I just made a messy high half bun. Other than looking cool, it gives a cooler feel as well since the hair feels so light. Do drop in your comments if you liked the article or have any questions/queries.
