The Black Velvet

Wassup guys, how are you all doing? I don’t know whether I have mentioned this before, but I recently moved to Delhi (I know , I know most of you’ll might be having words like “Seriously ?” “Why” “How could you leave Mumbai” etc) but to be honest its not that bad. Actually its not bad at all, I quite like it here. The weather is so lovely at the moment. I actually agree now, that there is nothing like Delhi winters. Winters have always been my favorite season always, that’s another thing that I never quite got to experience it in Mumbai. What I really love about winters is that you get to experiment so much with your wardrobe. You can wear coats, jackets, bombers, trench, stoles, boots  and so much more.

Since I had very little collection of wintery stuff with me, I was on a shopping spree. I bought this skirt from Jabong and I totally love it. It fits so well. The slit give the body a slimier and sexier look too. Actually, velvet has been quite the talk this season. From jackets to boots to dresses, people are just loving velvet. The soft texture just feels so comfortable. I paired the skirt with a solid blue crop sweater. I combined this look for a casual evening outing with friends. Do leave in your comments if you like it.
